The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) submitted a planning document to the United States Department of Justice (DOJ). The plan outlines the steps that the department will take to address the nine issues cited in the report of Independent Reviewer Elizabeth Jones issued on March 24, 2014.
This is the latest step as the department works to reengineer Georiga’s entire developmental disability system. This work involves a wide array of activities that will result in a system change that will lead to improved outcomes for the people we serve.”
