George W. Hartmann Residential Treatment
Facility
For more than 12 years the George W. Hartmann
Adolescent Treatment Facility in Marietta has been making a difference
in the lives of adolescents with substance abuse problems. The long-term
residential program works with male and female adolescents between
the ages of 13 and 18 to treat their dependence on addictive substances.
In the past decade the Hartmann Center has served some 528 consumers.
Opened in April 1991, The Hartmann Center has room for 30 young
people at the facility where they also attend school and receive
counseling under the direction of trained staff. The average
length of stay
is 10 months
