New CEO for Cobb and Douglas Community Services Boards

Cobb and Douglas Community Services Boards are ready to embark on a new journey led by Foster Norman. Happily married with two children and two grandchildren, Mr. Norman comes with over 40 years of experience in Public Health and Human Services with 16 of those years operating as a Chief Executive Officer (CEO). He is a native of Virginia who completed his secondary education at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and immediately felt compelled to Human Services. He began his career working as direct care professional with the intellectual and developmental disabilities’ population. While continuing his education both academically and operationally, he expanded his clinical purview to Mental Health/Substance Abuse service delivery and management becoming a Licensed Psychological Associate. During his tenure as CEO, Foster successfully managed and executed budgets of more than $180 million while providing leadership to over 300 employees. For the past two years, Foster has served as the senior organizational leadership consultant for MTM Services, providing consultation on an array of topics covering most major aspects of an organization’s operations for agencies through the United States, some which are in Georgia. Cobb and Douglas Community Services Boards welcome Mr. Foster Norman as Chief Executive Officer effective June 1st
