Stabilization Unit
The Stabilization Unit is a short term residential
program to provide brief treatment for psychiatric problems and
detoxification from drugs and alcohol. The goal of the medically
monitored Stabilization
Unit is to stabilize consumers medically and psychologically
and assist them through their crisis situation. A focus of treatment
is referral and linkage to programs in mental health, and substance abuse.
It is a DHR certified Emergency Receiving and Evaluation Unit.
