Our MISSION is to empower all individuals living with behavioral health challenges and intellectual and other developmental disabilities to achieve and maintain their desired quality of life. To ensure our mission is fulfilled, we hire the best team of professionals including mental health and substance use counselors, social workers, physicians, nurses, program managers, case managers, residential managers, administrative assistants, drivers, and a variety of other support staff and administrative positions at our 11 locations throughout Cobb County.

2 Plans for Retirement Contributions

457 Plan: Full Time and Part Time employees can make the election to contribute to this plan.

401 (a) Plan: the agency makes a contribution to this plan for all Full Time employees after their first year of employment at a rate of:

1 – 2 years of service = 2.5 % *agency contribution

3 – 4 years of service = 5.0 % agency contribution

4 – 5 years of service = 7.5 % agency contribution

After 5 years you are 100% vested for the employer contribution

The agency contributions are based on the employee’s salary.

Paid Time Off (PTO)

Nine (9) observed holidays

0-2 years: Accrue 5 hours per pay period, which equals 15 days per year

Every two years, the accrual increases by 1 hour capping at 10 years of service, which is 10 hours per pay period that is equal to 30 days per year.

Bereavement Leave

We offer bereavement leave for full time employees that can be used for immediate family, which includes spouse, parent, stepparent, siblings, step siblings, children, stepchildren, grandparent, father-in-law, mother-in-law sister-in-law, brother-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, or grandchild.
