Crisis Services

Our temporary observation unit provides for initial crisis stabilization for up to 23 hours and 59 minutes. This unit attempts to reduce the crisis situation such that within a short period of time, the individual could assume normal activities and return home.

Intellectual/Development Disabilities Services

We assist those with intellectual/ developmental disabilities with supports that promote personal choice and community inclusion. We work to improve individuals’ activities of daily life and to enhance quality of life through exercise, education, arts and crafts, and recreational/leisure activities.

Our Supported Employment program works with individuals to identify skills for competitive employment. Family Supports offers supports like respite, personal care items, and special dietary supplies for I/DD individuals.

Child & Adolescent Services

Cobb County Community Services Board provides assessment and therapy to children and families at Cobb Outpatient Services. We offer high quality care from a team of experts who address the needs of children and their families who may struggle with substance use and/or mental health.

Substance Use

We provide substance abuse services to children, adolescents and adults. A range of outpatient services are available to provide treatment, illness management education, and to support the development of the skills necessary to function in the community.

Behavioral Health

We provide services to those experiencing mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, behavioral problems, poor impulse control and thoughts of harming oneself or others.  Our substance use services for children, adolescents, and adults provide treatment and illness management education—supporting the development of skills necessary to function in the community.

Residential Services

Alternative (CRA) services are for individuals who require formal supports 24 hours per day/7 days per week. Our residential homes are staffed to provide a range of supports and training for daily living skills. These services occur in small residential group settings of four or less within licensed group homes and certified Host Homes.
