Residential Services Residential Treatment Cobb County Community Services Board provides housing and support services to adolescents and adults with mental health and/or substance use challenges. A broad range of facilities are available to those we serve. George W. Hartmann Center A therapeutic, structured, residential treatment program for adolescents, ranging in age from 13 to 17 years old, with substance use issues and/or co-occurring mental health disorders. Families Making a Change This program, through MMAC Residential is a specialized, gender-specific, trauma-responsive substance use disorder treatment program for pregnant & postpartum women with children under the age of 12 months. Mothers Making a Change (MMAC) Residential This program is available to mothers/expectant mothers who experience difficulties in maintaining their sobriety without a structured residential setting. On-site monitoring is provided 24 hours a day, seven days a week in Cobb County. Priority is given to expectant mothers. Residential Services New Start Men’s New Start Men’s Program is a 30-day residential program that provides intensive outpatient alcohol and drug treatment and transitional housing to adult men ages 18 and over who have a primary diagnosis of substance use disorder and have completed detox within the last twelve (12) months. Intensive Treatment Residential This program serves adults with severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI) and provides services that will help the client manage the symptoms of his/her illness, develop daily living skills and learn to use natural community supports. I/DD Residential Community Residential Alternative (CRA) services are for individuals who require formal supports 24 hours per day/7 days per week. Our residential homes are staffed to provide a range of supports and training for daily living skills. These services occur in small residential group settings of four or less within licensed group homes and certified Host Homes Recovery in Motion Recovery in Motion is the name of our a semi-independent, 24-hour, supervised program that houses individuals with substance use disorders. Serving both adult males and females, we offer onsite staff, on-call nursing, transportation to clinical services, community meetings and life skills. Individuals receive clinical services at our Outpatient Program: stay is six months, and individuals are required to attend treatment programs.
